USFWS Reopens ESA Monarch Petition Comment Period

Read Monarchs: Endangered Species Act (ESAsection 4(d).

Threatened Species Status with Section 4(d) Rule for Monarch Butterfly and Designation of Critical Habitat are reopened for comments until May 19, 2025.
