The Lorrie Otto Seeds for Education Program

The Lorrie Otto Seeds for Education Program is named for Wild Ones Lifetime Honorary Director Lorrie Otto, the founding inspiration for Wild Ones. The program provides meaningful learning opportunities that connect youth to nature and to the Wild Ones mission.

Do you know of a local school, nature center, after-school care program, community center, or youth group in need of funding for a native garden or habitat for hands-on learning? If so, please invite them to apply for the grant today. Applications are due November 15th, 2023.

The 2024 Hubbard Fellowship Program

It’s time again to recruit for The Claire M. Hubbard Young Leaders in Conservation Fellowship Program. Please share this announcement with anyone you think might be interested.

Advancing Conservation in Wisconsin’s Important Bird Areas

The Wisconsin Bird Conservation Partnership (WBCP) is pleased to announce a Request for Proposals (RFP) to advance bird conservation within the Wisconsin Important Bird Area (IBA) system.

Applications are due October 1, 2023, with funds up to $10,000 awarded by November 15, 2023. For a list of priority IBAs and all application details, visit our website, or the RFP directly below.

$65 Million Available for Conservation Innovation Grants Program

NRCS is making $65 million in funding available for new tools, approaches, practices, and technologies to further natural-resource conservation on private lands through Conservation Innovation Grants (CIG). Submit proposals by October 30th. Read More.
