More on Fireflies

August 2, 2017

Many years ago when my butt was narrower and my back stronger, my husband and I toured the Smoky Mountains on our 1977 Harley Davidson Lowrider. It was a memorable trip in more ways than one, and this BBC Earth video brought back many of those memories as well as showing the awesome flight of the fireflies.

Courtesy of the EarthSkyNews, this Vimeo “video shows a time lapse journey through the Smoky Mountains National Park during the world’s largest gathering of synchronized fireflies.” Its a beautiful film. Enjoy!
