May 15, 2017

Set aside by President Franklin Roosevelt in 1939, Necedah National Wildlife Refuge is located in Central Wisconsin. The refuge is located within an area known as the Great Central Wisconsin Swamp, the largest swamp in the State, and encompasses nearly 44,000 acres. Enjoy this delightful video of playful Red Fox kits.

“Baby Red Foxes playing at Necedah National Wildlife Refuge, which includes a mosaic habitat of sedge meadow, savanna, prairie and pine-oak forest nestled in central Wisconsin. It’s a place where wildlife thrive and where visitors can reconnect with nature. Video by Marie Pierce, USFWS.”

Enjoy!
