It’s Ice Skating Season

December 11, 2017

I haven’t ice skated in years, and in fact, no longer own a pair of ice skates, but the cold weather we’re having in Wisconsin is making for some excellent ice skating surfaces. All in all, it should be a wonderful ice skating season for enthusiasts. So enjoy!

Author Sharon Lamers brought this video to my attention.

Wild Ice – Backcountry Skating Alaska from Paxson Woelber on Vimeo.

With all the retention ponds now dotting our landscape, everyone should have lots of places to ice skate this season.

Thank you Sharon for bringing this video to my attention.
