On February 3, 2017, Rep Matt Gaetz (R-FL-1) introduced a bill before the 115th Congress to terminate the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on December 31, 2018. It has been referred to the House Science, Space, and Technology Committees, as well as the House Transportation and Infrastructure, Agriculture, Energy and Commerce No period of consideration has yet been determined by the House Speaker.
