Videographer Catherine Zimmerman has started a Indiegogo campaign to raise funds to finish her Hometown Habitat project. She has the photography completed, but now needs financial assistance to help with the final editing so it can be released Earth Week 2016. If you’d like to see this wonderful project completed, consider supporting Catherine’s work.
Hometown Habitat is a film about hometown heroes — individuals and organizations — who already understand the valuable ecosystem services native plants provide. Through their work in habitat restoration, the film hopes to inspire a new group of habitat heroes to carry on the natural landscaping movement. Featured in the film are such environmental heroes as Wild Ones Honorary Director Doug Tallamy, PhD and Steve Apfelbaum, MS.
