Exciting News! Catherine Zimmerman‘s The Meadow Project recently launched a new website. Consequently, the film Hometown Habitat – Stories of Bringing Nature Home has gotten a new home as well.
The Meadow Project is the place to find the films Catherine and her crew have created in support of their mission. It also includes resources for people to find screenings for her films, as well as to find native plants and organizations for native and affordable landscapes.
I asked Catherine for a quote. Here’s what she sent:
“We are very excited that thousands of people have attended over 40 screenings around the country so far and many more are scheduled into 2017. Hometown Habitat really has people fired up to plant natives and spread the message of the many benefits native plants provide to bring ecosystems back in balance.
Our next project will be developing a version of Hometown Habitat – Stories of Bringing Nature Home for use in classroom curriculum. We are also adding to the resource section on the website to help folks get started on their native landscape. 2017 should be a very exciting year in our quest to help build an army of habitat heroes!”
If you have some information you’d like to share with Catherine to help her build the resources on her new website, e-mail.
