Why Natives?

March 25, 2016

Guess who’s on WPT? One of the e-mails I got this week was from Wisconsin Public Television alerting me to the gardening and horticulture programs on one of their channels called University Place. University Place broadcasts blocks of lectures beginning at 2PM in the afternoon. This past Wednesday, the broadcast included yours truly. I had heard from others that my Why Natives? presentation was on WPT, but I hadn’t heard the lecture for myself. If you listen, you can tell I was nervous about being filmed, but for the most part, the presentation went well.

I also understand Wild Ones Honorary Director and nationally known entomologist Doug Tallamy has lectures on The Wisconsin Channel. While you’re looking around you might check them out as well.
