Free Admission for all National Parks Today

January 16, 2017

To honor of Martin Luther King Jr the National Park Service is waiving the entrance fees for all national parks, wildlife refuges and other public lands today, Monday, January 16, 2017.  I hope you have time to take advantage of this opportunity.

Here is a list of free entrance days during 2017 for our national parks to mark on your calendar:

  • January 16: Martin Luther King Jr. Day
  • February 20: Presidents’ Day
  • April 15-16 and 22-23: Weekends of National Park Week
  • August 25: National Park Service Birthday
  • September 30: National Public Lands Day
  • November 11-12: Veterans Day Weekend
