Diane’s Prairie

October 3, 2016

Diane Macaulay and a number of other Wild Ones members worked with Anthony Collings to produce this video to show that restoration and preservation of our natural landscapes is essential to helping our bees, bugs and birds, and that it is also essential to our sense of well being.

Andrea Matthies, President of the Wild Ones Ann Arbor Chapter wrote:  “This short documentary highlights the efforts of people in our community to transform turf into prairie, engage children in the effort, and relish the joy that comes on the wings of birds and butterflies.  Protect the Huron River watershed.”

This lyrical and informative documentary is just 6-1/2 minutes long and was published so it could be easily distributed and accessible.  Please share with friends, family, neighbors and colleagues.

Thank you, Maryann Whitman, for bringing this lovely video to my attention.

This video was so inspiring, plus lovely music to see the mood.
