Bringing Nature Home with Doug Tallamy

September 20, 2017

Doug Tallamy was featured in a recent podcast from Joe Lamp’l as joegardener – Growing a Greener World. “When it comes to bringing nature home, no one understands the critical relationships between native plants and the creatures that depend on them better than Doug Tallamy, Ph.D.” — Joe Lamp’l

Doug tells me he’s working on a new book, and it will include all of his recent research. Perhaps some of these photos he’s shared with me will be in it.

Doug Tallamy says a Black-capped Chickadee (Poecile atricapillus) pair brings 390-570 caterpillars to their young per day for 16 days. Photo by Doug Tallamy.

Thanks to Joy Perry for making me aware of this new podcast.
